Terms of use

These terms apply when you use findseo.net. The site is run by FindSEO, 711/1 Queens Rd, Melbourne VIC 3004, Australia (“FindSEO”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them. FindSEO is used by businesses and agencies around the world. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded by agreement, such as the Australian Consumer Law or the consumer laws of the country where you live.

1. Using FindSEO

FindSEO is a directory to help businesses find SEO agencies. Listings, ratings and reviews are information, not a recommendation or guarantee. Do your own checks before hiring anyone. Your agreement with an agency is between you and the agency.

2. Listings and claiming

• We may list agencies using information they have made public. Agencies can claim their listing free of charge.
• To claim, you must be authorised to act for the agency and verify using an email on the agency's domain, or another method we accept.
• You're responsible for keeping your profile accurate and for anything you publish on it. Don't make claims you can't back up.
• We may edit, decline, unpublish or remove content or listings that are inaccurate, misleading, unlawful or that breach these terms.

2A. Buyer accounts

• Anyone can create a free account with an email address to save agencies and keep a history of free-tool checks. We sign you in with one-time email codes or links; keep access to your inbox secure and don't share codes.
• One account per person. You can delete your account at any time in your account settings.
• We may suspend accounts used for spam, scraping or abuse.

3. Reviews

Reviews must follow our review guidelines. By submitting a review you confirm it's your honest experience as a client and give FindSEO a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to publish and display it. We moderate reviews but don't verify every statement in them.

4. Featured plans

• Featured costs $29 USD/month for your first 3 months, then $69 USD/month, including GST/VAT/sales tax where applicable, billed in advance by card through Stripe. It renews monthly until cancelled.
• Cancel anytime in your dashboard. Featured stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't give partial refunds unless the law requires it.
• Featured gives labelled placement and eligibility for Get matched introductions. It doesn't guarantee leads, enquiries, rankings or results, and it never affects reviews, ratings or awards.
• If a payment fails, Featured continues for a short grace period, then switches off until payment succeeds.

5. Get matched

If you submit a brief, you agree we may share it with up to three Featured agencies. You have no obligation to hire them. Agencies that receive a brief must only use it to respond to that brief.

6. Badges

Agencies may display badges they currently hold, using the code we supply, linked to their FindSEO profile. Don't alter badges or display badges you don't hold. We may revoke an award obtained by breaching these terms, for example through fake reviews.

7. Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at scale, interfere with its security, submit fake reviews or claims, impersonate anyone, or use FindSEO to send spam.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, FindSEO isn't liable for losses arising from your dealings with agencies listed on the site, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here. Questions: contact us. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts there can hear disputes about them. If you use FindSEO as a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law where you live that can't be excluded by agreement, and you can bring a claim in your local courts where that law allows it.
