FindSEO

Free SEO tools

Quick, honest checks for business owners working with (or choosing) an SEO agency. Each tool says where its data comes from and what it can't tell you. No sign-up, no email gate.

Page Authority Checker

Gives a page a 0–100 authority score that predicts how well it could rank, and lists the on-page issues that stop it using that authority.

Check a page's authority
Who it's for
Business owners checking a page before or during an SEO engagement, and anyone comparing their page with the pages that outrank it.
What it checks
  • Authority score for the page and its domain
  • Whether the page loads, is indexable and uses HTTPS
  • Canonical, title, meta description, content length and internal links
  • Practical next steps to raise the score
Data sources
Semrush Authority Score when Semrush data is connected (Moz Page Authority when Moz is connected). Otherwise the FindSEO Authority Score, built from free domain-popularity data (the Tranco top-1M list and Open PageRank) plus on-page checks.
Limits
Unless the result says Semrush or Moz, the score is our own estimate, not Moz Page Authority or a Semrush metric. Scores are relative: compare with the pages ranking for your keywords. Results are cached (7 days for link data, 24 hours for estimates).

Google Index Checker

Checks whether Google is able to index a page: whether Googlebot may crawl it and whether anything tells Google to leave it out.

Check if a page can be indexed
Who it's for
Site owners whose page isn't showing in Google, and anyone checking a launch or migration for accidental noindex or robots.txt blocks.
What it checks
  • robots.txt rules, read the way Googlebot reads them
  • noindex in the meta robots tag or X-Robots-Tag header
  • HTTP status, redirects and soft 404 signs
  • Canonical tag, and pages whose content depends on JavaScript
Data sources
The page's own HTML and headers and the site's robots.txt, fetched live (like Google's first, non-rendered pass).
Limits
It checks indexability, not whether the page is in Google's index right now: an indexable page may still not be indexed. Use URL Inspection in Google Search Console for the real index status. Results are cached for 24 hours; up to 10 checks an hour.

SEO ROI Calculator

Turns your SEO budget, traffic and sales numbers into an estimate of extra leads, customers, revenue, ROI and the month SEO pays for itself.

Estimate your SEO ROI
Who it's for
Anyone setting an SEO budget or sanity-checking the numbers in an agency proposal.
What it checks
  • ROI over 12 or 24 months and the payback month
  • Extra organic visitors, leads, customers and revenue
  • Gross profit when you add a margin, or lifetime value instead of order value
  • A month-by-month chart with a realistic ramp-up
Data sources
Only the numbers you enter. Nothing is looked up or stored unless you create a share link.
Limits
An estimate, not a forecast or a promise: real results depend on competition, search demand, the quality of the work and your sales process. Use it to compare scenarios.

Questions

Are the tools really free?
Yes. There's no sign-up and no limit beyond fair-use rate limits (for example, up to 10 Google Index Checker runs an hour per visitor). We don't ask for an email address.
Is the page authority score the same as Moz Page Authority?
Only when the result says so. With Semrush or Moz data connected you see their score; otherwise you get the FindSEO Authority Score, our own estimate from free domain-popularity data and on-page checks. It's useful for comparing pages, but it isn't a Moz or Semrush metric.
Does the Google Index Checker tell me if a page is in Google?
No. It checks whether Google can index the page (crawling allowed, no noindex, a working status code, a sensible canonical). Google doesn't index every indexable page. For the real index status of your own site, use URL Inspection in Google Search Console.
How accurate is the SEO ROI Calculator?
It's only as good as the numbers you put in, and it can't predict competition or the quality of the work. Treat it as a way to compare scenarios and check an agency's proposal, not as a forecast.
Do you store the pages or numbers I enter?
Checker results are cached for a short time so repeat checks are fast (24 hours, or 7 days for paid link data). The ROI calculator runs in your browser and stores nothing unless you create a share link, which puts your numbers in the URL.
